How to check a room's occupancy status?

From the dashboard, how can you check if the room is occupied (with someone physically in the room) or unoccupied ?

Our occupancy sensors can detect if there is anyone physically in the room, using heat and movement. It will show on the dashboard if we detect anyone in the room at this point in time.

The status is "occupied" or "unoccupied".

Note: we use an "occupancy timeout" to ensure that the system does not automate if the guest left for a short period of time (ex: going to the bathroom). It means that our sensors will wait for the occupancy timeout period (ex: 25 minutes) before changing the status to "unoccupied" and start to automate. So, if your guest had just left the room and the status is still occupied, that is normal. However, when someone walks into the room, the change of status from "unoccupied" to "occupied" is immediate, and there is no occupancy timeout this way.

Checking the occupancy status from the main page:

Step 1: From the main page, you can see the occupancy status of all rooms at once.
Find the room you are looking for and you can see the icon next to it, which will be black for "occupied" or grey for "unoccupied". You can see the status by scrolling your mouse over it as well.

Checking the occupancy status from the room's AC controls:

Step 1: From the main page, find the room you want to check and click on it.

Step 2: on the room controls, you can see the room status: occupied or unoccupied.
Each area in the room will show its own status (living room, master bedroom, etc).

Checking the occupancy status from the activity log:

Step 1: From the main page, find the room you want to check and click on it.

Step 2: Select "Activity Log" at the top of the page.

Step 3: Once on the activity log you can see the latest change in occupancy status. It will show what it was (occupied or unoccupied" but also when that change in status happened (day and exact time).
