Feature 1: the room Occupancy Status icon becomes colour-coded
The occupancy indicator on the dashboard is now colour-coded.
The icon near each room area now shows Red when the sensor detects occupancy, and Green when it is vacant.
If it is green, it means that our occupancy sensors do not detect anyone in the room, and it is an excellent time to enter if you have any maintenance, housekeeping cleaning or other tasks to complete.

Feature 2: if you override the default settings, you can select when it needs to go back to default automatically
Your property has default settings, which are the main settings the rooms should be on. However, from time to time, you might get a request from a guest to change these settings. Until now, you could change the settings, and save them, then you needed to go back to reset them to default once the guests had checked out. Now, you can just enter the date and time when you want these settings to go back to normal (for example check out date and time), and it will happen automatically.
Example:
The guest of room 101 does not want the AC to turn off while they are away. You change the settings to Disable. They are checking out in 2 days at 12 pm, so you can update the settings period accordingly. Two days later at noon, the settings automatically go back to the default settings, in this case, Supersave, without you having to do anything.
Changing the settings
Step 1:
You select the room and go into Configuration.
Here you can see the default setting is Supersave mode.
Step 2:
Change the temporary settings by selecting it (ex in this case: "Disabled")
Step 3:
Save the settings
Step 4:
A window pops up, asking you when should these settings return to the default settings.
Note:
If you wish to make these settings the new default settings for this room, then you need to click on "save as default"
Step 5:
Select the date and time when you want these temporary settings to end (ex: when the guests check out)
Step 6:
Once you have saved your selection, the configuration will show on the page with its end date and time.
Step 7:
If you wish to reset the settings to default earlier than you had selected, you can click on "Reset now" on the configuration bar, a pop-up window will then ask to confirm or cancel.
If you confirm, the room's settings will go back to default immediately.
Feature 3: you can now change settings faster in different rooms by selecting similar areas in the bulk edit configuration
If you wish to change settings in similar areas in different rooms (ex: all the living rooms but not the bedrooms) it is now possible to do it very quickly and easily.
From the configuration page, you can search by key name (the room number) or the room name (the area type).
Search by key name (room number):
This search will allow you to select all rooms sharing the same numbers.
Search by room name (areas within rooms):
This search will allow you to select all similar areas even if located in different rooms. For example, you can search for "Living room" and the search will display all rooms named "Living room" and hide other rooms in those keys.
This will make it faster to bulk update configuration changes in certain types of areas only (for example: changing automation hours in the living rooms for 24 hours but not in the bedrooms, across the full property).
How to search and select rooms by the key number, step by step:
Step 1:
Go to the configuration page.
Step 2:
By using the search by key name, you can look for all rooms that have something in common in their names or numbers.
For example, if I want to quickly access all rooms on floor 7 (all starting with 7) I can type 7 in the search bar and all rooms with a "7" will immediately show.
Step 3:
You can now select the rooms in order to change the settings.
You can click on the box next to "key" which will select all of them, or go through the list of rooms that show and select all the ones you want.
Step 4:
Now you can click on "Bulk Edit Configuration" & select the settings changes you want to make.
How to search and select rooms by the area type, step by step:
Step 1:
Go to the configuration page.
Step 2:
By using the search by type of area, you can look for all similar areas across the property (living rooms, master bedrooms, study rooms...etc).
For example, by typing "living" in the search bar, all living areas showed. The other areas in some rooms will not show, to allow you to select everything should you desire.
Step 3:
You can now select the rooms in order to change the settings.
You can click on the box next to "key" which will select all of them, or go through the list of rooms that show and select all the ones you want.
Step 4:
Now you can click on "Bulk Edit Configuration" & select the settings changes you want to make.
