Automation Test No 4: Set Thermostat to a 26, 27 or 28°C temperatures

Are Thermostats set to 26, 27 or 28°C temperatures?

Instructions:

  • Make sure the thermostat device is ON.

  • Turn on the AC using the installed thermostat.

  • Set the AC temperature to 26, 27 or 28°C in Cool Mode using the installed thermostat.

  • Change the temp slowly. Do not do it fast.

  • If the thermostat is already to one of these temperatures, then change the temp to another valid one

  • Wait for the “Set thermostat to 26, 27 or 28°C” test to pass on the dashboard.

  • If the test fails, please follow the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps

Troubleshooting Steps (for Contractor):

  1. After following the above-mentioned steps if we still face an issue follow the below-mentioned action

  2. For 2PFC Replace the Node.

  3. For Daikin and ACIR
    Take a pic of the thermostat/remote control and contact the Installation manager
    (might be an issue with the remote control in case of ACIR)

  4. No gateway restart unless coordinated that everyone is outside the rooms.

When to Replace a Node:

  • Put the battery on- Node should come online and join in 15-20 seconds, otherwise, it has an issue.

Do the following steps:

A. Unmap and remap the node (Wait for 15 seconds)

B. Take the battery out and reinsert it (Wait for 15 seconds to join)

The Sequence of the Installation:

  • Install Thermostat first → Do the degree test.

  • Install Occupancy /Door sensors → Do the test.
