Step 1: Separate the bottom part from the base by gently turning the dome anti-clockwise. It will detach from its base, which is stuck to the ceiling.
Step 2: Remove all three batteries and wait for at least 10 seconds.
Step 3: Place the batteries back in the sensor
Step 4: Fit the sensor back on its base but gently turning it clockwise, until it locks.
