Door Sensor Guide: How to Replace a Door Sensor

“HOW TO” Replace a Door Sensor

If you are being asked by SensorFlow to reset a door sensor, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Open the door sensor

Step 2: Detach the battery

Step 3: Unscrew the wires connecting to the door magnet

Step 4: Unscrew / detach the base from the wall or door

Step 5: Take a picture of the QR code of the new sensor and send it to SensorFlow so they can activate it

Step 6: Screw / attach the sensor to the wall pr door at the same place as the previous sensor

Step 7: Screw the wires back from the door magnet in the new sensor

Step 8: Attach the battery

Step 9: Close the sensor
